Environmental Management at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
The Livermore site is committed to enhancing its environmental stewardship and managing the impacts its operations may have on the environment through a formal Environmental Management System (EMS). The Livermore site encourages the public to participate in matters related to the site's environmental impact on the community by soliciting citizens’ input on matters of significant public interest and through various communications. The Livermore site also provides public access to information on its ES&H activities with websites and public meetings.
Annual Site Environmental Report
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s (LLNL’s) Annual Site Environmental Report (ASER) presents environmental monitoring results, evaluates the impact of LLNL operations on the surrounding environment, records LLNL’s compliance with environmental standards and requirements, and describes LLNL’s environmental protection and remediation programs. The ASER is prepared by the LLNL Environmental Functional Area for the U.S. Department of Energy.
